Cheats – Wild Guns

So what with Wild Guns Reloaded now available for PS4, I thought this would be a great opportunity to go back and take a look at one of the 16-bit eras hidden gems. So before we get to the upcoming review, how about some Wild Guns cheats so you can see everything this classic has to offer. What’s more, whilst Wild Guns on the Super Nintendo / Super Famicom may only have the one cheat, luckily for everyone its the most important of them all – Stage Select.

  • Stage Select – In order to activate Wild Guns’ stage select, you’ll want to first head over to Character Select screen. Then once there hold down the SELECT button and press A, A, A, A, B, B, B, B, A, B, A, B, A, B, A, B. After this players should be able to skip to whichever level they want, something extremely useful if you find yourself in the situation where you have to turn off the game before you’re finished playing.

  • Alternate Attire Glitch – In order to activate this glitch you’ll need to complete any level without losing a single life. Then when you return to the Character Select screen, you’ll notice that the brim of Clint’s hat will have changed, whilst Annie’s petticoat will have completed disappeared. Unfortunately, this change is only visible in the Character Select screen and isn’t reflected through each character’s in-game attire.
